As a proud employee of NexAir Home Services, a family-owned and veteran-owned business operating in the Tri-State area, I’m excited to share a typical day in my life as an HVAC technician. Born and raised in West Virginia, I love serving my fellow West Virginians by providing top-notch comfort solutions throughout our beautiful state.

Morning: Preparing for the Day

My day starts early, usually around 6:30 AM. After a quick breakfast, I head to our headquarters in Huntington, WV, to pick up my service van and review the day’s schedule. Today, I have appointments in Pea Ridge, Barboursville, and Milton.

Mid-Morning: Air Conditioner Service in Pea Ridge

My first stop is a routine air conditioner service in Pea Ridge. I arrive at the client’s home, introduce myself, and begin the inspection. I check:

• Refrigerant levels
• Electrical connections
• Thermostat functionality
• Air filter condition

Everything looks good, so I clean the coils and ensure the system is running efficiently before heading to my next appointment.

Afternoon: AC Repair in Barboursville

After a quick lunch break, I arrive at a home in Barboursville where the homeowner reported their AC isn’t cooling properly. I diagnose the issue as a faulty compressor and explain the repair process to the client. With their approval, I get to work replacing the compressor, ensuring the system is back up and running smoothly.

Late Afternoon: HVAC Installation Consultation in Milton

My final appointment of the day is a consultation for a new HVAC installation in Milton. I meet with the homeowners, assess their current system, and discuss their needs and preferences. I provide them with options and a detailed quote for a new, energy-efficient system that will keep their home comfortable year-round.

Evening: Wrapping Up
